On tap at Native Son Alehouse in Santa Ana, CA.
Ok, I’m not the Bill Nye of Hops. For the most part, Raul cannot nerd out and tell you what hops smell like what, ya feel me? Raul ain’t gonna win the hops category on Jeopardy. That being said, if there is one hop Raul thinks that he knows, it’s Citra. And right here, we have a grassy ass beer. Like, think of the Ireland Countryside poured into a glass. Yep, here we go. Smooth and good, good and smooth.
Just do it, my children. Do it well.

Poured into a pint glass at the brewery
A: Clear straw-yellow in color, wispy head quickly dissipates.
S: Distinct tropical notes, mango and papaya. Crackery bouquet masks any alcohol.
T: The flavors carry the tropical notes in the nose, with a bend of citrus rind. Clean palate, the hops turn almost salty toward the middle checked by a touch of honey sweetness. Finished short and bitter sweet.
M: Light bodied, we'll carbonated. Very little residue between sips.
A tasty brew, and a great vehicle to try one of the most coveted and trendy hop-strains currently brewed.
