July 16th, 2015 - The Bachelor (made with Galaxy) left me feeling a little weird and a little torn. Enjoyed at Society Brewing and from a taster, it is a bright, lemon drop colored beer with a significant head that laces inside the admittedly small taster glass. It smells like wet stone or concrete, which is usual and doesn't give away too much about the beer itself. But the flavor is where I get confused. It's a combination of wet dog and fermented lemon, with a weedy kick in the middle that retreats quickly into the aftertaste. There I find more of a strange, rotting lemon taste that's not terrible, but good in a way that reminds me of Southeast Asian cuisine. I leave the empty taster as confused as when I started. Scoring this will be stochastic.

Hazy, pale yellow in color, bright white head. Dank galaxy hop flavors of peach, mango and citrus but still remains light and drinkable. Good dry bitterness at the end.

Tried a sample at the brewery in San Diego. Nice flavor for an ipa.
