With the Nelson Sauvin hop on full display, Societe's experimental hop series celebrates this variety in all its winey, fruity and spicy glory.
Lemony gold and with an overall bright, slightly hazy appearance, The Bachelor floats a creamy, frothy start white persistent froth. With a candied citrus scent rolling from the rim, a brisk malt aroma is sweetly scented with a strong floral perfume. Also sweet to taste, the early palate opens with honeysuckle, pez-like candy and a dusting of powdered sugar.
As the Nelson Sauvin hops spring forward, the flavor of white grape, lychee and dragon fruit come to mind with a succulent, sweet and sugar coated hop complement. Hints of lemon, apple, white grapefruit and guava add to the green citrus and tropical fruit flavors white the beer develops a mild bitterness to offset some of the sweetness and creamy malts that linger.
Medium bodied and seemingly slightly fuller, the IPA sells a juicier hop profile in a very "hazy" kind of way. With a winier take on IPA, The Bachelor is a bright and bountiful flavor with a softer side of both bitterness and creamy sweetness.

Golden with almost pure clearness to it. Head is white that leaves nice lacing. Nose is slightly vegetal like. Taste is also slightly vegetal with a lemon grass bitterness. Excellent beer.

Easily the best of the bachelor series, similar to OG Alpine Nelson from back in the day. Super fresh, bright Nelson hops explode up front, definitely get that dry white grape flavor. One of the best non-turbid pale ales I have had recently.
