This one is pretty dry like King Tut showing up to the party after chilling in his sarcophagus for a few thousand years. Yeah, it’s pretty West Coast to a T like the film Anthony Mann directed back in ‘47. It’s not world class. But like Ryan Gosling circa “Drive” (I can’t rep this “La La Land and Barbie stuff”), it isn’t trying to be.
