This rowdy IPA pulls no punches and picks fights with tyrants on the regular. With an unpredictable temper and a flair for the dramatic, this master of hop aroma can smell fear. Don’t flinch!

Clear bright amber with fine-grained foam in the tulip. Lovely aroma of fruit and a whiff of pine. Lush and sudsy on the tongue. This is not overly citrus flavored, for a change, though there are certainly some orange and lime peel notes. More of the mango, with a touch of pineapple. One of the more pleasantly flavored hoppy brews I've had lately. Just enough sweetness to carry it off. This is certainly big and bold, but it doesn't flatten you with bitterness. Highly drinkable, but more like tasting every sip. From the 16 oz can dated 12/21/23.

Wow! This is a very good, very unique IPA...

To sum it up briefly, it looks great in the glass, 1/4" of persistent head on it in my tulip glass poured from an amazing, crazy 16 oz can.

Smells...hoppy. Mostly herbal and grassy.

Tastes...hmmm...need another sip, and another sip...can't quite put my thumb on it. It's got grassiness and herbal flavors that follow the nose, but also a mixture of super funky/dank stonefruits. Not very "grapfruity" but more dank. There's some toasted malts coming through for sure that give it a more distinct flavor. Very good, and different.

I like a dank, grassy/herbal IPA, so I am going back to get more from Trader Joe's in Temecula (Southern California). At like $3.50 a can it ain't cheap, but Societe is a top notch IPA producer and I am a top notch IPA consumer. ;)

Yeah, this is good. The mouthfeel is medium to dry, but definitely a dry finish. Hoppy, balanced, but dry so you better like your IPAs West Coast style if you're diving into this bad boy. NOT an intro to IPA kind of IPA.

I rate this a solid A!

4 weeks after canning on 1/3 /24, Crystal clear pale yellow when poured into a modified perfect pint glass with carbonation nucleation grid. Two fingers nice dense white head of decently long duration but not much lacing. Mild bitterness, no need for food on the side to temper the bitterness here. Somewhat grassy/ a bit of pine on smell and flavor. Overall a highly drinkable WCIPA
