This citrus-centric IPA takes on a devout pursuit of dank hop aroma. The Seeker looks to the humulus lupulus as a vehicle for an ever expanding palate. Wisdom and enlightenment may be within reach, but only for the genuine sage who never fails to visit the wishing well.

Tall can picked up from the local Trader Joe’s as a single for $3.38 dated 01/13/25 so super fresh. Traditional West Coast IPA but emphasizes the pungent citrus. Some lemongrass, pith, earth. Nothing unique here, just a delicious hop profile, plenty of dryness, and great drinkability while being super dank and almost gritty. If there’s such a thing, this is a SD IPA.

Trader Joes san diego. Very fresh dated. Easy breezy clear as the basic ocean. Mild hop aromas. Easy as dinday morning drinksbility. Lace blazes mark the glass.

Review based on a second can to supplement an earlier rating. Score did not change, but here is a description: Canned 12/20/24, consumed from a modified perfect pint glass with carbonation initiation grid on 1/18/25. Nice looking; very clear pale yellow with 1+ finger of dense white heat of great duration. Looks great with the constant stream of fine carbonation rising from the grid. Some spotty lacing. Not a lot of smell, but my sense of smell is terrible. Taste is somewhat inscrutable; maybe some lemongrass, a touch of pine, some grass(?), some grapefruit rind plus mild hop bitterness. Moderate body. Fine carbonation in the mouth.
