Pours a slightly cloudy, pale golden yellow color with bright straw colored edges and a two finger frothy white head that very slowly settles into a lasting ring. Excellent retention with streaks of soapy lacing coating the glass on the way down.
The aroma of this beer is very odd. I'm picking up a strange mustard like character along with odd metallic astringency and peppery spice. Some coriander an white pepper along with sunflower seed and subtle floral hops. Bready yeast and light fruit esters with biscuit, bread apple and pear. Slightly off-putting but the oddness of the aroma has me intrigued.
On the lighter end of medium body with delicate grassy hops and peppery spice countered by bread/yeast, biscuity malt and light fruit flavors. Grassy with some dank pine character followed by faint citrus, zesty white pepper and coriander. Slight buttery flavor with strong pear/cider-like flavors. Some vinous light grape as well along with biscuit malts and banana. Really weird but somehow still appealing.
