12oz bottle, with a fine layer of dust
This is rotgut tequila drop-shotted into a very poor lime-flavored lager. Nothing more, nothing less.. If you're into that, I guess... I'd only drink this if I was somehow very desperate to be drunk, the 6% is hidden well, I guess

It sounded good. It looked good, even smelled good. The taste was oversweetened lime juicy funk. I had to force myself to finish the six pack. I think I tried pouring tequila in it and adding a lime and that didn't help a damn bit. Awful stuff.

“Blended with beer aged on tequila barrel staves. Blue agave infused.” Interesting mixture with definite tequila hints. Also tastes like many of the tasty summer brews. The finish could be better. 2015/07/26

People think this beer sucks...boy you must not be a real beer taster of you can't enjoy the beer. Simple things Matt and so do flavor. So I your a great beer drinker you find the good in mostly everydrink. Unless it's a 4 loko those are the worst. Ocultos was talking over the top beers. Way better than budlight and America beers.

I don't know why so many people are leaving horrible reviews. I absolutely loved this beer and think it was genius to brew in tequila barrels. Abita brew does the same only with bourbon barrels and those fly off the shelves. Perhaps it's a cultural thing as most of the people I know who loved it as much as I do were Latinos. I wish it wasn't taken off shelves and Anheuser-Busch would consider putting them back-at least in the high Latino community stores.

Not a bad hybrid beer for what it is. Not a craft effort. It reminds me of Corona. I taste a little Tequila flavor. Good beer for a summer day. I recommend drinking this beer with a thick slice of lime. This compliments the beer. I liked it especially with lime. Worth picking up on a summer day.

REALLY wanted to love this. Bottle art kicks ass, but that was where my love affair ended. Smells sweet with notes of lime, sweetness that I think must be the infusion of blue agave that the label states. The colder the better, as it kills the sweetness. Did not detect any tequila, which was another disappointment because the label hinted otherwise. Would be a good beer for people who aren't beer fans. A nice halfway point between beer and wine coolers. Will probably try again though, might be a better summer beer.

Basically it's a great beer for starting a day out in the summer sun. You don't want to drink too much of it, and the first few sips are very refreshing. Outside of that it's not a beer you want too much of. It's not bad. Just specific.
Look: Very nice clear golden color. But not much head for a 6% lager. It could be that my bottle is a few months old so I will give that a pass.
Smell: Sweet, and sort of smoky
Taste: Sweet at first but then gets a little strangely smoky, sweet and tangy. The taste itself is fine but the aftertaste lingers for a while and is not the most pleasant.
Feel: nice and crisp mouthfeel. Might be a bit bubbly for some but I enjoy it.

Don't drink it without putting salt and lime juice/whole limes in it.

Nice appearance in the glass, which is by far the best attribute of this beer. Not much going on with the aroma. I picked up some odd flavor characteristics, so I tried it again following a neutral palate cleanser. A little better, but still sweet with a fruity tang and an astringent finish. Tastes like it spent some time on fresh-cut wood, and there isn't a trace of tequila in it.

Take a Corona but smooth the taste, let it develop a wood barrel accent and finish it off with a great tequila finish.
Taste Rating in Words: If a beer fell asleep while taking a long relaxing stay in a big, wood, hot tub, full of tequila.
Note: The 3.2% and 6.0% versions of this beer are more different then any other beer I've ever tasted. Color=Different, Taste=Different, Smell=Different. The 3.2% seemed to taste more like Corona (not smooth), followed by a very slight Tequila after taste. While the 6.0% is rated above.
