The beer emerges from the clear 12-ounce bottle a luminous gold, the head is smallish and bright white, the lace thinner than my hair. Nose has a very sweet orange aroma, some hints of tartness also, a spilt personalities dream these beers. Start is cloyingly sweet, the grain profile light, the top thin as my wallet after Christmas. Finish is harshly acidic, hops missing in action, the aftertaste dry, not what Id call bad, but certainly not good, makes a fine palate cleaner.
