I am a steadfast Budweiser-hater, primarily because I think it's absolute crap, always has been. So it takes quite the effort for me to even consider a beer with packaging sporting the familiar Budweiser label, font, overall look and feel. But after reading the (mostly) positive takes here, I decided to give Repeal Reserve a go. I'm very glad I did. I am a big fan of the amber/red beers, particularly of the classic English pale ale style. This is, of course, not in that camp, but it has a very solid malt backbone that is neither too sweet nor too musty. I detect a slight hop crisp, mostly at the tail end, but it's just enough to make this beer fall into the 'refreshing' category. It pours beautifully from the vintage-stubby bottle, offering a nice head of moderately dense foam. It was lovely paired with the pork chops and sauteed greens we had for supper the other night, yet it stands well enough alone. Recommended, with a very enthusiastic one thumb up!

Had that one time at a party back in the day. I have had a wicked lot of beers from these guys, most of which are not at all good whatsoever, this included.

AB needs to put this one into year round production. This is a hop forward tasting slightly bitter, but easy drinking amber lager. In a blind taste test, this would be a highly rated beer. But since it is an AB product, the beer douche out there will pan it claiming their favorite craft breweries version is much better een if they can't make two batches that taste the same

Budweiser 1933 Repeal Reserve Amber Lager brewed by Anheuser-Busch, with an ABV of 6.10% This American Amber/Red Lager pours out a nice copper color with a nice white head head. There is some nice spotty lacing to this brew, it sticks to the side of the glass well. Really digging the copper color of this brew. The smell is rich sweetness, with mirror roasted grains and malts. You do pick up on faint hop bitterness in the smell as well. So far this is one inviting brew, now for the taste, it is bold but smooth with flavors. You first pick up sweet roasted grains and malts. There is also a nice clean finish to this brew. The sweetness is a nice touch to this brew.
Budweiser 1933 Repeal Reserve Amber Lager has a super nice balance to, there is nothing overpowering about this brew. I can't get over how smooth this brew goes down. It is really hard to pick up on the 6.10% ABV in this brew. The body of this brew is a solid medium. The mouth feel of Budweiser 1933 Repeal Reserve Amber Lager isn't Bold,Rich, Roasted, Clean, Smooth, and Refreshing. This brew would go nice with dinner or a cool day. Overall I'm going to give Budweiser 1933 Repeal Reserve Amber Lager a 4.25 out of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again giving the opportunity to. Anheuser-Busch, did a real nice job with this American Red/ Amber Larger. If you are looking for something to change it up that is bold but smooth look this brew up.

Great brew from AB-they did a good job with the memorial brew. I would love to see them brew this as a regular product , and maybe change the name to something like "Bud Export Lager" and charge the same price as their regular Budweiser.

While this isn’t regular Bud, it’s slightly better but not very good nonetheless. AB did a good job marketing this but failed to deliver a good beer.
