Appearance: Reddish pink in color, perfectly resembling pink grapefruit juice, which seems to be ubiquitous in Texas. A small head resembling the lather from dishwashing soap soon collapses into nothingness. The lacing is limited to very sparse and minute patches of foam. Clouds of minute bubbles race to the surface.
Aroma: Prominent and natural notes of guava, including the rind, grace the aroma, quite pleasing. There is also a pleasant vodka-like note of alcohol, not at all harsh, more like what is expected from a respectable cocktail.
Taste: Opens with a very pleasant and natural note of guava, including the rind. Soon after, there is a note of pleasant and warming vodka-like alcohol. Despite expectations, this is only moderately sweet, not at all a candy-infused alcopop. Finishes with a good balance of guava and alcohol, with a bit of rind bitterness at the close.
Mouth feel: Reasonably full, with slight, biting carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: Very pleasant on a sweltering summer day in Central Texas and quite well-done.. I am not sure why this is marked as discontinued, a local convenience store offered a decent stock, or perhaps it is old stock. If so, it has aged well. I would be pleased to have it again.
Presentation: Packaged in a twenty-five ounce aluminum can, served in a South American-style Pilsener glass. 1803:07272021

I have been meaning to get to this one for a while, ever since its initial procurement at the Beer & Beverage Shoppe on Roseville Road. The A-B Ritas are a CANiosity to me & definitely rate inCANsion in The CANQuest (tm)!
From the CAN: "Limited Edition"; "Ritas Guav-A-Rita Sparkling Margarita".
I Crack!ed open this latest iteration in the series & beCAN a slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. It fizzed & foamed in a rolling, roiling manner before fizzling out into mere wisps. 8=( Color was a hazy Coral-Salmon Pink (SRM = N/A)! Nose REALLY smelled like guava! 8=O If this was outta the Chem Lab, I am a monkey's uncle! 8=O Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, not watery, but not far removed, either. The taste was imprecisely guava, not as authentic as on the nose, but still quite close! It had the tropical tang to offset its sweetness, making it very dangerous in terms of its quaffability. 8%?!? No effin' way! Holy ... If the previous Crunk Juice (CJ) & LYTT CANcoctions were tough to get down, this made up for them in its ease. You could really do some damage with 25-fl oz of this bad boy! Finish was semi-sweet. It certainly was not dry, nor was it really sweet, either. Why do people think that tropical fruits are sweet? They have a natural tang that belies their sweetness. I was pleasantly surprised by/with this one. YMMV.

25 FL. OZ. can
Served in a teku glass
This beverage pours a lovely pink hue. The head disappears as quickly as I pour it.
The smell is guava with a hint of lime.
The taste is sugar, sugar, and more sugar with guava and lime.
Thin bodied with a pop-like mouthfeel
This is purdy sweet. I am drinking it quite fast for an 8%er though.
