The usual murky and nearly foam-free pour in the goblet. Not a bad aroma of tomato and chiles. Also the usual thickish and less carbonated mouthfeel. The first sip is a nice tangy Clamato taste, but the second is when the heat kicks in. Apparently listening to consumers complaining that it wasn't spicy enough (see reviews) the chemists amped up the chiles. Now it's so hot it's undrinkable, and I am a salsa of lover of many decades. Nuff said. From the huge can headed for the drain. Purchased at a well-stocked gas station store.

25 FL. OZ. can
Served in an imperial becker glass

This beverage pours a bright red hue and is murky like tomato juice. It has a fleeting head that leaves no trace.

It smells like tomato juice with a hint of sweetness.

Sweet tomato with slightly tart flavor. Barely any heat. I would say it is more sweet than anything. I added some chipotle Tabasco to bring some heat.

Light bodied with a tomato juice consistency

I was hoping for some heat. Bud Light failed to deliver. It made for a decent breakfast beer.

Pretty tasty, spicy with some saltiness and Worcestershire, umami, not a ton of tomato according to my tastebuds but you might find the flavor profile different. My only gripe is the flavor can be a bit extra sweet sometimes, not as good as the old school budweiser "picante lime y sal" in the old designed cans, you can tell the formula has changed since then. If you do have this, just have it by itself, don't mix it with other types of beer or mixed drinks - you might find the sweetness cloying.

25 ounce can, my friend Laura bought this one a week or so ago but didn't notice it was the "Fuego" version so she gave it to me instead. If the 20297 stamped on the bottom of the can is the Julian Date (October 24, 2020), it's certainly not fresh but I'll drink it anyway. Pretty sure it was in the gas station cooler for a while. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a reddish/orange color with about a half inch off-white/pink head that fizzled away quickly. The brew smells like tomato juice, clamato, and salt. Doesn't smell spicy at all. Luckily there is some peppery/spicy kick to the beer, but it's not strong at all. Along with the pepper/spice, there's also some tomato juice, clamato, salt and lime flavors. There's some lingering heat in the finish, not strong but has enough of a kick to make it interesting. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. I would have no problem drinking this one again, have to say I like the Clamato/Chelada brews in general so I probably like this one more than most.

Pour is a thick chunky red color with two and a half fingers of pink head. The head fiercely crackles down to shit and leaves no trace of its existence. Just a bloody chunky stain upon the glass.

Smells of spicy tomato juice. Yep like spicy tomato juice.

Taste is like Bud Light, shellfish and tomato juice with some very cheap hot sauce.

Mouth is chewy and finish sticks with you.

Overall it tastes like a chelada with some spice. Maybe a bit heavy on the tomato. Seems almost like someone tried to come up with something different for the sake of coming up with something different. So the taste is different. Maybe not better. Spicier, and a little different. In that it succeeds.

bigazz can into mouf

This was the lowest point in my life perhaps, I found myself about to board a plane and without any other booze in sight, and in order to reduce flight anxiety I motored this down the ole gullet - purely as an alcohol delivery system... I didn't notice the '"FUEGO" label until it was too late. It wasn't very spicy but the immense gut rot I was expecting from the normal version was sure to be 'enhanced', and sure enough I ruined that airplane bathroom and my anxiety was only heightened

Thanks, Anheuser-Busch

If I could give negative numbers I would. This tastes horrible and I love cheladas!!!! Why does it have cinnamon in it? Has a candy taste in the tomato beer. For the love of God and peoples taste buds please stop making this

Bud Light Chelada Fuego has a fizzing-away head, and an opaque orange-red appearance, with gunk on the rim. Nose- spicy tomato soup. Taste- similar, with salt, building hot pepper spices, lime, and clam meat. Heavy body. Semi-sweet finish.

A new item from AB! 24oz can poured into pint glass. Picked up from liquor store for around $3 I think. 20269 printed on bottom of can. I presume that's a born on date of Sept 26, 2020?

Appearance - Opaque orange-red body with just enough translucence to make out the small to medium sized floating particulates. Small to medium sized fizzy light orange-white head with small orange flakes. 4.75

Smell - A deeper, more robust and peppery smell than other Budweiser chelada versions. Also something fruity? Maybe some sweet pickle? Almost giving a grilled burger vibe. Really weird, and I'd almost call it offputting in its novelty, but I'm in the mood for this kind of weirdness. The mood being... three pints into a session. 5

Taste - Wow. Yup. This tastes like a grilled cheeseburger with a lot of ketchup and hot sauce. I love spice, even ultrahots as far as fresh peppers go, and this is actually maybe a little too spicy even for me. I can handle it but it's definitely no session beer. I have a feeling it's going to give heartburn as well.

Mouthfeel - Medium to full bodied. Some effervescence. Would call it refreshing if not for the fact that it's ridiculously spicy. I didn't except such a mainstream brand to be putting out a product this spicy. Not that I mind, but it's a shock. 4.75

Overall - I definitely wouldn't make a chelada like this on purpose, but this was a heck of an experience. It's well crafted for what it sets out to be, and it lives up to its name. Though maybe they should have called it Bud Light Grilled Cheeseburger Fuego Chelada. So while it's not my cup to tea, I appreciate it for what it is, and it does it well. 4.75
