Natural Light Naturdays - Pineapple Lemonade

Unsure if this was a good idea, two twelve ounce cans have been emptied into a clear glass liter mug. A pineapple aroma is quickly detected, so there's at least some truth to the label. The liquid is only faintly hued. It's a light and bright amber that is as close to translucent as any beer you'll encounter. There's no head, nor glass lacing. The pineapple-lemonade flavors are thankfully moderate and in a good balance with each other. It's sweet, sweet enough to be considered a soft drink. In a blind taste test, few people would guess this is a beer. It's virtually hopless to the tongue. Maybe that's a good thing, as hops would only muddle its taste. A positive note is that it drinks a little better than many hard seltzers, but that might be all. Even after working on a hot day, this can't possibly taste better than an adjunct lager.

This beer pours a brilliant pale yellow hue. It is topped with a fleeting head.

It smells like a pineapple Dum Dum sucker.

It has a very sweet, artificial pineapple flavor.

Thin bodied with a watery mouthfeel

I had this all damn summer to drink after mowing the lawn on a hot day. Well it was 40° today. Not really Naturdays weather. Super sweet. I like the strawberry one better. Nothing tops Natty Daddy though in the Natural family.

 

 

 

This one pours a very clear and fizzy orange-ish color, with a small head, and not much lacing.

This smells somewhat artificial, but ultimately does smell good - with light pineapple sweetness, a bit of lemon, and a general grainy sweetness.

I know these aren't actually good beers, but there's something about them that I always tend to enjoy. It's definitely artificial, but not necessarily in a bad way. It's not too sweet or anything, and goes down super easily.

This is light bodied, crisp, and pretty clean. It's a very good hot weather beverage.

I think I like this one a little bit better than the original Naturdays. It's definitely a guilty pleasure.

Poured from a can. Straw in color with a white head. Smells of citrus, pineapple is in the forefront. Taste is like a pineapple shandy. You know it's beer but pineapple is the main flavor. The pineapple flavor to me is very authentic, the strawberry one is good but it's easily pegged as not real. I like the strawberry, this one is better.

 

It’s better than the Strawberry Lemonade Naturday. If you liked that one, try this one. If you didn’t like that one, still try this one. Tastes like pineapple and is a beer, so it’s good enough for me.
