Unfuckingbelievable. It never occurred to me that this would be necessary, but not only does a beer need to be added to Anheuser-Busch, but I'm the one to do it. And it's a saison, no less. Absolutely unreal.
Appearance is muddled brown with a moderate khaki head that settles to a thin but creamy blanket.
Taste is buttery caramel with a touch of steamed, spiced apple and a hint of toasted pumpernickel.
The medium body has a soft fizz and finishes semi-dry.
Like no style I've had, there's actually a hint of mango tartness after time, of which I'm not sure the origin, but the bartender did mention something of the kind, which we thought to be a slip up at the time.
