Natural Ice is brewed with a blend of premium American-grown and imported hops and a combination of malt and corn that lends Natural Ice its delicate sweetness. It then undergoes Anheuser-Busch’s exclusive ice-brewing process, which takes the beer to a temperature below freezing and leads to the formation of ice crystals which create its signature rich and smooth taste.

I thought I'd give this a try and although the votes are mostly on the underside of 3.0 gauge, I have to say it's a cheap beer but,I personally like it.
That's what it's all about, right, some folks like bad beer but it tastes good and some folks like good beer but it tastes bad. It's all upon one's preference and singular taste buds. So, I bought a 15 pack never having "Natty Ice" before and once these 15 are consumed (my wife has had 2, already) I'll probably buy another 15/30 pack somewhere down the road. Besides, them dollars are starting to get tighter every day now, too, so, DRINK UP!

I personally like beers that taste neutral/not powerful and are more like drinking water as far as how "easy" they are to drink. This beer surprised me, I thought it would be the typical horrid overly alcohol/sour corn type taste of most cheap high abv beers but to me it really isnt. It is very easy to drink, I mean very easy. I dont get any sour any burn or bite its just a neutral/slight sweet corn type taste and isnt insanely carbonated so its very easy to chug it. For 5.9% its almost dangerous, which im sure was the desired outcome. It is so much easier to drink than other ice beers to me, I geniunely enjoy it. Take that for what it is im no beer snob I dont care about anything other than how easy it is to drink and feel, and this one is remarkably good at those things and cheap.

It's sometimes cheaper than water. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Undecipherable date code; drank 10/2/25 @ the Yarchives.
See-through pale, dull orange-yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a small, bright white head; strong lacing remained.
Sweet corn & honeyed bread notes in the nose.
Smells very sweet.
Medium thin mouthfeel.
Honey & sweet corn when cold; once warm, a stale yeast note took over.
This was fairly good ice cold, but once it warmed a bit it turned pretty bad. Drink fast!

From a 25oz can dated 25088 (late March canning?) into a pint glass.
Pours a pale golden yellow with about one finger of white head that dissipates quickly. Bit of retention and some lacing.
Corn/grain aroma. Faint.
Corn/grain flavor. Faint.
Highly carbonated. Light-bodied. Does have a smooth mouthfeel.
Overall...yeah, well, it drinks smoother than Natty Ice

I can get these for a a dollar and fourty cents. The change compartment of my car screams at me as I drive near the package store. I don’t count that as real money, therefore I get a free buzz!
It’s drinkable, it gets you where you want to be for almost nothing

I've been drinking Natural Ice for years. I just got back from Walgreen's where I picked up two 15 packs for $9.99 each. Sure, it isn't exactly a world class beer, but it gets the job done and you know exactly what you're getting. I much prefer this over Bud Ice, which has a peculiar taste and seems to always give me a headache; the only beer that has that effect.
At 5.9%, the ABV is low enough that I can enjoy a 6 pack without overdoing it. The other option would be Natty Daddy, but after a few of those things can take a downward turn, much like Steel Reserve.
Natural Ice is in the same league for me as a PBR, but just a tad stronger. It's a fine choice for anyone who doesn't want to or can't spend a lot, but wants a beer with a bit of a kick to it. The flavor is fine, not great, but ok.
