Can from Trader Joe's. OK for the style, a bit of taste, but certainly not a crusher. A gulp or two from the bottle and I know what it's about, saving room for real beer.

12 oz bottle from Aldi. Highest rated beers here tend to be high alcohol. This is an NA beer. Personally I like it. Nice malty smell, tastes like a German lager with a lot of hops in aftertaste.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 500mL in a pint glass. From The Roundhouse Centre LCBO on Howard Ave. in nearby Windsor. Best before February 20/27. My 2nd beer from the Frankfurt, Germany brewery, and 1st for 2026. My 1st NA beer--awful...

Pours little foam. Ultra filtered with a light golden color. Smells of yeast and white paper.
Taste reminds me of Erdinger NON ALC a little bit although this one is sweeter. I'm not a fan of macro NON ALC beers anyway. They get beat by pretty much every craft brewery that does non alcoholic beers.

I'm also getting that yeast and white printing paper taste. Overall this beer isn't good. Barely good enough to finish but not good enough to ever buy again. I'm sure a lot of their regular alcoholic beers are fine but I'm not convinced on their NON ALC beer.

A: crystal clear; medium gold in color; 1 finger white head that receded to a wispy cap with a moderate tight collar; very nice thick rings of lace;

S: not especially aromatic; what's there is apple;

T: apple through the middle; finish was oxidized; mild to moderate bitterness at the end;

M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;

O: the best bottled NA beer I've had, but also the first on that wasn't completely oxidized, so the bar wasn't that high;

Only a couple months old, yet tastes horribly skunked. The green bottles and being an NA beer should have tipped me off. Tastes like cookie dough, wet dog, and bread.

this is really rough, which surprises me, because ive liked the two hoppy offerings ive had from them in the non alcoholic space, but this more conventional european lager play is a tough one for me, and while its apparent lack of freshness is part of it, its total lack of beer character is more problematic, and the chemical almost warm composty thing it has going on is borderline intolerable, even if i hadnt had a real beer in ages, im not sure i can find a situation in my mind to make this one appealing. golden colored and pretty clear, even a short white head sticking around on this one, which is not the case with a lot of the recent non alcoholic beers ive been dabbling in, good carbonation too, but thats where the compliments stop. immediate green glass skunk to me, totally over the top, like actual skunk, stinky, with watered down barley malt in behind it, pennies and brassy metallic character too, a melting plastic cheapness, hot garbage in a black back vinyl in high summer. it tastes somehow worse than it smells, some beer elements way back, but its sweet and its oxidized and its sort of dirty to me, definitely not stacking up with their other products or really with hardly any beer or beer adjacent thing i can think of, one sip was shocking, two was necessary out of curiosity, three was just self harm, no fourth sip for sure. cant believe how bad this is, especially because their others are solid. a total miss, even if i had a bad bottle, i dont know that i could risk it again to try this to confirm, a total turnoff, would rather drink no beer at all than this one...

Collectively rated by a council of three people

Person 1: Really nice color, but other than that, not great. Weird bitter aftertaste (not in a good way), and somehow got increasingly sweeter (sickingly so) the closer to the bottom of the bottle we got. Personally, not a fan of that. Interesting mouthfeel, almost syrup-y.
Person 2: Looks and smells kinda like apple juice. As the beer flattens out it gets becomes thick giving a syrup-y mouthfeel. I found the feel pleasant but the end notes are bitter and not enjoyable.
Person 3: this beer reminds me of going to an independently-owned cafe on a saturday morning - that is to say, i enjoyed it thoroughly. the beer starts out sweet and ends even sweeter, much like a trip to the independently-owned cafe on saturday morning, and the extra sweet flavor at the end of every sip is just a treat that cannot be beat.

Pours light yellow with a thick head and excellent lacing. No malty sweetness in this one whatsoever. Tastes & smells like a hop tea. The after taste is a very bitter grassy flavor. I'm done trying N/A beers.

Clausthaler looks quite nice when you pour out into a glass. It is a golden hue with a moderate white foamy head that sticks around for quite a while.
The aroma is not great in my opinion though. There is a very minor noble hop aroma otherwise it is quite sweet and almost cardboard like.
Flavor-wise it has the exact same issues. It is very sweet with almost no Pilsner like aspect to it. It finishes with a bitterness that just doesn't do anything for me either.
Overall, in my opinion this is very lackluster compared to the N/A beers being made now.
