Kinda rough. Tastes like an archeological experiment. I don't like the heavy brett WITH saison yeast -- and spices? Too much going on in this beer. I love brett beers, and I love saisons, but this one does not hit the mark.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a hazy, medium golden amber with a half finger white head with great retention and thick lacing. Aroma of grainy malt, saison yeast, brett; a bit of tartness and lemon. Flavor is brett, mellow grainy malt, lemon, funk and a faint hint of caramel; finishes with lingering brett and light fruit. Medium bodied with light creaminess and sharp carbonation. A bright, brett forward saison that has a laid back flavor to the malt, although it is robust enough to support the active farmhouse yeasts. Looks great and hits the standard notes of the somewhat tart, bretty style of saison. I like the drier, grainier style myself, but this is nicely made.
