On draft, served in a wine glass. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow body, one finger white head, fair retention. Smell is slight mineral, grain, touch of sulfur, light caramel, a bit of straw. Flavour follows, however the sulfur seems to coarsen up the palate at the expense of the straw, mineral and touch of leather that I get here. It's got the package, but it needs to be refined more. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied, slightly astringent hay and leather on the finish.

A: Pale, straw gold, 2 finger head, mildly hazy, but not completely
S: Immediate pilsner note with touches of lemon and pear and blanc grape with some nice apple notes as well that marry well with the pilsner malt, the apple really begins to come through as the beer sits
T: pleasant and dry with sweet malt and touches of white fruit (apple, pear and white grape), very pleasant, there is a corn note here as well that is not great but not awful,
M: very dry
O: this is very interesting and tasty beer, I love the idea of it and would love to see this toyed with a bit more, I think this would be a really nice flagship beer/flagship beer style for them, I do wish it was more aggressively hopped (something I would ordinarily like) some Saaz would be great. Honestly this seems like more of a BPA merged with a Lager than a farmhouse ale merged with a lager. Try it if you can it's quite good.

I tried this on tap at Bluejacket served in a tulip chilled.
The color is golden with light haze and thin white head with very fine bead and wavy lace with good retention. The smell is slightly fruity with some malt aroma with subtle phenolic yeast with low hop aroma. The feel is slightly dry with crisp body and moderately high carbonation with almost no sweetness and light funk in the very dry finish.
This is an unusual lager -wheat with funky farmhouse yeast and subtle peppery spicy almost phenolic flavors with dry toast in the malt flavor with lingering taste of yeast which is dominant. This is worth trying especially if you enjoy farmhouse anything -it is very dry and crisp with a touch of funk -not your average lager
