A mixed-fermentation lager brewed in collaboration with our friends at Victory Brewing Company (Downington, PA). Hopped with Pacific Jade & Galaxy, fermented with a blend of Victory house lager yeast + Bluejacket house brettanomyces lambicus, lagered for six weeks.

Bluejacket is a fantastic place, as I love the risks that they're taking with their beers.
This Brett lager is drinking with rediculous levels of funk at this point in time. The Brett has bloomed into something crazy. The net effect is a deliciously complex flavor profile of hay, barnyard, sour wheat and moss, but a rancid horse-diaper nose. If they can get the nose under control this would be fantastic from end to end.

Draft at the source.
Golden yellow body with a soapy white head. Aromas of lager yeast, floral scents, a hint of brett. The brett character emerges much more so in the flavor. Bready and zesty, lightly tart. A hint of fruit, grapefruit zest, lemon notes. Decent.
