Dry, fruity, spicy. Briefly Gorgeous jumps out the glass with bright, lemon-lime candy aromas. Slightly earthy, citric, and complex on the palate, with a refreshing tingle on the finish.
Briefly Gorgeous is a 5.0% abv spelt saison, brewed with a blend of green and red Szechuan peppercorns from 50 Hertz Tingly Foods (Washington, DC). We loved the combination of the green’s bold, lemon zest aromas, with the classic, warming, numbing characteristics of the red. We then rounded it out with two types of Asian citrus fruit – Buddha’s hand and yuzu – to add a bright pop of flavor on the finish.
Brewed with our friends at Lost Generation (Washington, DC) for Asian and Pacific American Heritage Month. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Chefs Stopping AAPI Hate.
