Echoes is a beautifully complex Flanders Red Ale, aged 2-3 years in wine barrels to develop deep layers of oak, tart acidity, and rich malt character. A secondary fermentation on sour cherries adds vibrant fruitiness, balancing the beer’s vinous depth with a bright, jammy tang. Notes of dark cherry, balsamic, and vanilla intertwine with a subtle funk, leading to a dry, lingering finish. Echoes is a refined yet lively expression of time, patience, and craftsmanship.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark red/brown color with a foamy head. Aroma and flavor feature an excellent tart Flanders red ale base, with notes of cocoa and dried fruit. There's a burst of sour cherry along with leathery funk, vanilla, oak, tannins, and red wine. Complex and yet approachable. I especially appreciate how the Flanders red base beer is very recognizable. Excellent stuff, albeit on the pricey side.
