Day 13 of the advent calendar 2021
Pale yellow with a good amount of head.
Malty nose with a bit of yeast coming through.
Sourmash flavor is there but it is disguised by the hops, so it works.
A bit on the light/ watery side, though still very drinkable.

Bottle from Brewer’s Haven. There are enough hops in this wheat ale to almost pass it off as a session IPA. Hops up front but fade quickly. Pilsener aroma, in addition to the grains and hops, some citrus (tangerine)in the taste. Not a big fan of wheat ales, but this one’s a keeper.

22 from Brewforia Meridian.. Paid a very expensive $5ish for the bottle... It pours very clear with a pretty much nonexistent white head... thin cap.. nothing in the way of lacing.
Nose is grainy wheat/lesser pale malt... hops are a bit grassy but slightly more citric.. pretty proper.
Grainy/slightly husky pale malt on the palate meshes okay with the only decent up front bitterness... mid palate a slightly better citrus hop essence balances.
Body shows the wheat... I dig it.
I like a good American Wheat and Sawtooth does a good job with this one.. The Widmer brothers could learn a trick or two.
