absolutely no reason for the poor ratings here, this is the best pils type or maybe even the best lager i have had from the state of idaho to date, and its a really brilliant pils, something to be applauded, shocked it hasnt received higher scores here and generated some hype, its perfectly well refined, and really maybe the best beer i have had from these guys, who despite the past, really seem to have things together right now in terms of quality. this is clear and frothy and delicious, with a nice hop profile, a touch of malt sweetness in the right place, a real obvious freshness, and a lot of pep from the carbonation. it sings on the palate, refreshes really completely, and stands up to some of the robust food on their menu here. its really excellent and thoughtful pils, like the water profile is just right, the hops are traditional, and yet the beer has a unique identity. i thought this was amazing, and would have had a dozen of them if they didnt have so many cool beers on their menu demanding to be tried. if you have not had this one in awhile, dip in again, it really is among the best in its field in our state. brilliant liquid here, especially this time of year!

Bottle from brewery. Slightly hazy golden pour with abundant fluffy head. Nose has some lemony citrus aroma, kind of out of the norm for the style. Taste also favors the malt bill, giving the whole presentation a touch more lager essence than should be there. Not enough hops crispness at the finish for a true pilsener. Sure looks good though,,,,
