12 oz can from Boise Co-op. Amber pour, small foamy head. Citrus peel for the aroma, light caramel malts. Taste brings huge bitterness, acidic grapefruit peel that grabs you by the tonsils. Citrus and caramel notes behind the bite.

Mediocre, boring IPA. Intentionally harsh and not juicy.

another very tasty brew from these guys, dry hoppy and modern, and how cool to have a juicy one thats not also crazy cloudy, this isnt quite clear, but it looks rather well refined, nice tall white head on it from the tap too, and obviously extremely fresh as soon as i smell it. they did a cool job with the hops on this, they really pop, and we get all kind of cool fruity on it, juice indeed, with fresh orange, green melon and papaya notes, must be a couple of different hops in the mix here, i struggle to really pick anything out specifically, and it is a little bit unique as these go. not much bitterness on it in the taste, but there is just an ever so slight green vegetal element from all the hops, not burny or harsh at all, but its there right before the swallow. like a few of their other hoppy beers, there is nice malt support here and a touch of sweetness along with some medium body, helps kind of puff the hops up, and it seems intentional now across a couple of the beers, cool that they do this seemingly without crystal malt, nice! fresh and balanced and fruit forward, tropical a little bit, but this is all season beer and one they should keep around. i was really impressed with just about all the beers these guys are making, they dont get talked about enough i dont think.
