Taster at brewery. Golden pour, small creamy head. Light fruity, cranberry aroma. Tartness is mild, more cranberry and a bit of salt at the finish. Have at Thanksgiving dinner.

a nicely done gose here, havent really known these guys for sours, so this was a nice surprise. its got a flat pinkish hue to it, softly hazy, and very heady from the can, holds its foam awhile too, and looks pretty good in the glass, maybe a little dull in shade, but very active. the aroma is a little muted, some minerals to it, wheat malt, and a very light cranberry tang, perhaps a little squeeze of lemon as well, but not overly robust. the flavor is way more dynamic, with some awesome tartness running through the whole thing, clean on the lactic souring but picking up a nice tang from the cranberry, which is subtle in taste but more prominent in texture. the saltiness is really high too, my wife and i love gose and almost always wish for more salt, well, here it is, really drying and earthy through the back half, i love the dosage! carbonation is high and makes this whole thing move pretty quick, the mellow fruit and drying tendencies make this a refreshingly fast drinker as well, and this is nice beer for high summer sessioning. not too sour to drink a lot of, not too much fruit, enough wheat character that this is still plenty beery, really well balanced and executed overall. sawtooth is really moving in the right direction lately, this is real solid, cranberry is a nice call for this style too!
