nice one here, these guys have upped their game on the hoppy stuff, and this is befitting of their anniversary occasion. cold ipa blowing up in this part of the world right now too, wow. golden on the pour, near clear, looks light and lively, basic in a good way. it smells real fresh, white winey to me, a little orchard fruit thing, green apple, yellow peach, green grape, pinot grigio, minerals, super simple malt base, makes sense, nicely built and seemingly very cleanly fermented. the flavor follows, bright up front hop derived fruitiness, with juicy ripe orange, white grape, and even mango, with a light spiciness and sturdy bitterness that kind of rise up out of nowhere in the latter stages, uniquely fruity and bitter, and super dry, almost in that brut ipa range, and its effervescent and that fast too. the hops have an almost candied intensity, could be phantasm or something in here, its that bright, really nice hop profile, not even really much linger for how bold it is. more drinkable than a lot of these, more dynamic too, among their best hoppy beers ive had, just enough from the grain and really tidy in terms of the ferment. excellent.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Deep golden pour with a thick frothy white head. Piney aroma, fruity. Taste is sweet, malty before the lovely hop selection brings fruity, citrusy, piney notes. Full mouthfeel. Delicious.
