On-tap @ Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co. in Croydon, PA.
Very deep amber, almost brown, in color with an off-white head.
Wow, what an amazingly fresh and complex aroma that I was totally not expecting. Freshly cracked grain, bread, caramel, and dark fruits that pack a punch. Maybe it was just a product of having this fresh on-tap from the source, but simply one of the best expressions of fresh malt that I've come across in a beer. I want to get a candle that smells like this, no joke.
Balanced flavor, with plenty of sharp hop bitterness to go with the bready malts. Rich and fruity, yet very clean at the same time. Pretty dry in the finish, not cloying at all. Medium bodied.
This one is getting high marks from me. A stunning example of what you can do with only 4% ABV. In no way does it sacrifice flavor or character. Brew more of this please!

If you like yourself some thick, bready German malt then track this one down. It has a robust malt profile, darker pumpernickel elements balanced with a little sweetness. It is a more simple style but it is very well done

Muddy brown with a hint of plum and a nice light tan head.
Sweet bready malts and dry yeast in the nose. Light caramel sweetness, distant dark fruit, brown bread and a nice, dull bitter finish.
On the thicker side of medium bodied, with a somewhat chewy feel and just enough carbonation. Quality beer.
