on draft at the Borough Brewhouse location, in a pint glass
darker than most Schwarzbiers, this one is jet black, thin tan head. pretty roasty aroma - cocoa and mild coffee. taste is similar. fuller bodied than most of this style. overall very good but closer to a stout, but I assume this was brewed with lager yeast. So maybe more like a low-abv Baltic Porter?
