Pours a lovely dark caramel brown with two fat fingers of dark tan head. The head lasts a good while and leaves thick lacing.
Rich aroma of creamy roasted malts.
The taste follows the nose, with a solid
touch of creamed coffee added to the mix. Some slight bitterness blends in with the malt sweetness in the aftertaste. A little under-the-surface carbonation comes into play in the taste as well.
Full bodied yet very drinkable. A tasty, well-roasted take on the style.
