Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co. "Warped Wheat Ale"

$1.99 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: I hate it when breweries don't put dating on their packages, although in this case it didn't hurt. I looked up the dates for the Vans Warped Tour and it was at the end of June, which this was brewed for. It's now the end of October so it's at least 4 months old, which is fine, but I sometimes get screwed over buying old beer because it's not dated. Moving on, this is just a basic Bavarian-style hefeweizen that's a little lighter in body than some, but it's still got 5.2% abv to it. It's not nearly as carbonated as most, and I think at least partially due to that the lead doesn't hold very well and there's not that much lacing. What it does have is a great aroma with lots of banana showing. Neshaminy Creek has always make great weizens and I really liked their latest dunkleweizen "It's A Jailbreak!". This one is not as flavorful or complex as their others but it's fairly easy to drink, which I assume was the idea all along, although I'm not even sure - are you allowed to drink during the Warped Tour? Whatever, I think you've got the idea on this one. If you see it you should grab it because it won't be around long. Ahh, one more thing I almost forgot, I have had weizens like this in Germany, and some of them had even less flavor, but they were all more carbonated.
