An unfiltered East Coast sibling to our West Coast style mainstay, The Shape of Hops to Come, conditioned on plenty of pineapple to transport your taste buds to a tropical oasis in the middle of winter. Double dry-hopped with Citra and Mosaic.

Can to snifter. Last day of school.

LOOK: hazy yellow with a hint of orange. Juicy look, small creamy white head, very good retention.

AROMA: lots of tropical here, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, tangerine. Some light grasses, sea breeze. Very pleasant.

TASTE: Very juicy...pineapple, vanilla, coconut, grass.

FEEL: medium to light body (~40%), a little too much like juice and not enough beer. Flat feel.

Very nice. Super tasty and enjoyable. Not without faults, but this is MUCH more up my alley than the original "Shape of Hops...etc."

A beautiful colored NEIPA much like orange and pineapple juice poured from a 16 ounce undated can. Smells of fruit juice particularly of apricot and taste follows the nose. Yummy, delicious and a hint of sweet. Different and excellent. Smooth and creamy the mouthfeel is also excellent. The apricot lingers on the tongue and it's very good. I don't really get coconut or passionfruit but love it just the same. Overall a winner. Love to have these around. Thanks Jeff @jzeilinger for sharing this gem. Very tasty.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass not sure when it was canned. Pours a hazy orange yellow with a half finger sticky white head that leaves streaks of lace with nice retention. 4.5

Aroma coconut, passionfruit, and pineapple pretty strait forward and coconut is the star. 4.5

Taste follows coconut, passionfruit, and pineapple really nice 4.5

Mouthfeel is pretty big, rather gentle carbonation, maybe a little sticky but not dry, and at 8.8% really easy drinking. 4.5

Overall I am really really digging this one. Thanks jzeilinger for this one 4.5

Out of the pint can it came and into a clear glass liter mug. The liquid is opaquely orange-amber in color with just about the perfect white head. The aroma is faint, but coconut can be detected among a fruity emphasis. Unlike their more subdued pineapple version of this label, the coconut character is pronounced. If you don't like coconut, you will not like this beer. For those that appreciate that taste, this will be a winner. The passionfruit is the one that's subdued. The body is solid and adds just a little sweet maltiness. A nice visual of glass lacing adds to its attractiveness. The passionfruit probably also contributes to a sweetness that isn't too much for the bittering hops and coconut to handle. After the coconut, everything is in good balance and the taste of the high ABV is only at a level that it enhances the overall. A little different than most and probably not an everyday staple; nonetheless, this is a pleasurable drinking experience.

A - Dark orange opaque pour with very dense, bright white lacing and light carbonation.

S - Tropical fruit that's pungent, juicy, and dank on the nose. Big pineapple, passion fruit, juicy floral, and tangerine.

T - Coconut, pineapple, tropical fruit, and passion fruit from start to finish. Starts juicy and ends with a slight citrus /pine bitterness that builds momentum after it sits on the palate. The coconut is a little bold at first but dies down a little bit after the taste buds adjust to the initial hit of flavor.

M - Big body, chewy, and soft with slight pricklies.

O - Rock solid but the aroma is just amazing!

10/8/20.....pours medium dark gold, bordering on amber with thick white foam that settles down. Strong fruity nose - pineapple, mango, with hints of coconut. Taste is a load of fruit upfront, with coconut hitting first. Passion fruits / mangoes slide in next. Soft finish. Creamy. Very nice.

Poured as a hazy yellow with a thin white head, not much lacing on the glass which is a bummer. The smell of the beer had a really nice tropical fruit and coconut aroma going on, it's very welcoming. The taste of the beer showcases the coconut and passion fruit blending with the hops with incredible balance. Not one flavors overpowers the others. The feel is good, could be a little fuller but still good. Overall I really enjoyed this beer, and I would probably drink it again.
