4/18/21....pours dark brown, bordering on black with remnants of tan foam, but few. Roasted nose. Coffees and a dark chocolate. Smooth creamy open with a punchy cherry tang following it right up. Closed with a stiff coffee bitter. Comes together nicely.

Well, we'll see about that. First, a pint can is emptied into a clear glass liter mug. It's got the standard stout color of black coffee. Carbonated, but without a lasting head and completely without glass lacing. The smell is a pleasant one of chocolate and roasted malt. The taste is boldly dark chocolate with only a hint of cherry. The mouthfeel is a little thin and flat. What happened to the carbonation? It's sweet, but not offensively so and the finish of dark chocolate is redeeming. It's not as good as the first two words of its name, nor as horrible as the last word.

A - Opaque dark reddish brown color that's almost sludgy looking. No lacing. No carbonation.

S - Very distinct cherry chocolate aroma, sorta like a chocolate covered cherry.

T - Chocolate, cherry, cherry tartness, chocolate roast, chocolate char bitterness. Ends with a nice chocolate base with light acidic cherry over the top.

M - Thick, syrup-like body with some stickyness on the lips.

O - As advertised. This is chocolate and cherry to the max.
