Everything I love and look for in an American Porter! Jet black color with a slightly smoky, roasted aroma. Flavor is a bit dry almost coffee like. Faint hints of dark chocolate. Mouthfeel has a tannic hoppy bite. A great moderate abv Porter!

12 ounce can poured into a tulip glass.
L---Darkest brown color. Khaki head with very good retention and very nice lacing.
S---Roasty malts. Some chocolate.
T---Sweet malts. Some chocolate and caramel.
F---Medium bodied. Good carbonation.
O---A nice effort from a quality brewery. Tastes like more than 5%.
