Damn Ye! from Neshaminy Creek. Purchased at Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA, 14/09/22. $ 4.00 (Including tax)/16 oz can ($ 0.25/oz). In reefer at store, stored at 40 degrees at home. Reviewed 17/09/22. Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Undated can. Served at 51.0 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King Snifter. Final temperature 55.5 degrees.
Appearance – 4.
First pour – Straw (SRM 3), clear.
Body – Gold (SRM 5), translucent. Under direct light, same with some tiny suspended particles. When rear-lite, massive amounts of suspended particles are obvious.
Head – Large (Five cm, aggressive center pour), white smoke, high density with a few rocks, diminishing to a seven to nine mm crown and complete rocky cap.
Lacing – Poor – just a couple of drag marks.
Aroma – 3 – Next to none. No hops, no malt, no yeast, no ethanol.
Flavor – 3 – Begins bitter without much flavor other than some malt. No yeast, no hops. No ethanol (8.5 % ABV as marked on label) aroma or taste. Eventually, slight gastric warming occurs. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl.
Palate – 4 – Full, short of creamy, soft, carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 3.25 (After deducting 0.25 point for undated container) Nicely bitter but lacks the flavor and aroma of hops to balance the malt. Looks and feels above average.

Pours a golden copper color with a big two finger head. The nose is earthy and slightly dank. There is also some pine in the background. The flavor has notes of pithy citrus fruits combined with some grassy qualities. The finish is pure pith and resin.

From a 16oz can dated the 315th day of 2021 into a tulip.

Pours a murky orange with about one and a half fingers of off-white head. Okay-ish retention, decent lacing.

Aromas of fruit juice, citrus, vanilla and coconut on the crack of the can settling down to some piney coconut and vanilla.

Taste is coconut/vanilla forward but also getting strong bitter pine. Some citrus in the background.

Pretty full-bodied, sticky mouthfeel. Bitter, coconut aftertaste. Medium carbonation.

Sabro forward beer here. Third can of this and I can't figure out if I like it. I like sabro if it's more in the background, adding to the experience, not driving it. Would maybe like to try this one a little fresher and see if that changes things. Bottom line: decent beer, just different than a lot of IIPAs out there.

Canning date: ?

A - Medium gold color with perfect clarity and dense, creamy white lacing circling the top. Lots of fine particulates suspended in the beer when held to the light and low carbonation.

S - Tangerine, juicy tropical fruit, citrus, delicate vanilla, and peach. Overall aroma is juicy with some slight dankness.

T - Follows the nose with tangerine, citrus, tropical fruit, some slight woodiness, lychee fruit, and ends with an assertive lingering bitterness. A little bit of resin starts to build with tropical fruit and lime.

M - Big medium body that's borderline thick. Finishes very dry with a little bit of alcohol presence.

O - Not my favorite from Neshaminy, but I would buy this one again.

16oz can into a pint glass. NO freshness dating.

Looks good in the glass. Golden yellow body. Small white head shrinks to a ring and covering, not much lacing.

Aroma is a little sweet with some tropical fruit notes.

On tasting, hoppy, sweet, a very light spice touch. A good tropical mixed fruit hop note.

Mouth closer to full than medium, finish a bittersweet tropical feel

Overall, decent beer. Has all the elements, not unbalanced, worth having again methinks.

This brewery makes at least two Imperial or Double IPAs that are truly great and don't cost the price of a meal in a good restaurant for a pint can four-pack. They would be, by name, Blitzkrieg and Shape Of Hops To Come. With those two in the data bank, pulling this one in was a no-brainer. The first pint can has been emptied into a clear glass liter mug. It reveals an American adjunct lager looking brew, bright and light golden amber, that's quite translucent. The head is white, tight, modest and enduring. There's a solid, but not overwhelming aroma of bitter hops, mainly piney and slightly earthy. The mouthfeel and overall taste is much softer than was expected. Yea, there is hoppiness to dominate the taste, but it's much more dry than resinous and it doesn't linger. The mouthfeel is much smoother than the afore mentioned cousins. Its body is sufficient, without adding additional sweetness, making this a hit for those that like a dry Imperial IPA. Probably, a little more barley malt in the wort would have improved everything, especially the balance expected from the style. The eight and a half ABV isn't noticed. The glass lacing mitigates some of its visual shortcomings and overall, this is a really good brew. The only other relevant consideration is that it cost more than a dollar per can, when purchased as a four pack, over its predecessors. Worth it?
