16 oz can, no date

Orange golden in color, thick white head. Veryb good head retention and lacing. Candied fruit hop aroma. Taste is a little sweet and a touch boozy which for a 10% abv IPA is fine by me. Mouthfeel is a little sticky.

Purchased at Pennridge Beverage. $15/4pk (16oz cans)

Pours a hazy, opaque golden orange color. A frothy, white colored head on the intial pour.

Aromas of tropical fruits, especially pineapple. Also a malty, piney smell as well.

A delicous DIPA. Very malty with flavors of pine, pineapple, lemon, caramel and/or burnt sugars. A rather bitter aftertaste. The 10% ABV is well hidden making this very drinkable.

Medium carbonation, heavier consistency.

Overall, a great beer to highlight Neshaminy Creek's 10th Anniversary. Very enjoyable and I'm glad I had a chance to partake in such a good DIPA. Highly recommended...Cheers!

Unfortunately, the pour to empty the contents of a pint can into a clear glass Imperial pint mug ends with the now common result of a big stark white fluffy head becoming the focus. That almost always means too much wheat in the wort and that will only impact the overall negatively. Sure enough, the head recedes unevenly and with pathetic spots of lacing. The brew itself is an attractive copper-amber, light, bright and mostly opaque. There's a somewhat sharp and earthy hop aroma, maybe influenced by some alcohol. It's hard to complain about the taste of this one. It has a sufficient body and moderate malty sweetness that comes almost unexpectedly from its looks. The hops are present, but don't dominate to the point of being astringent. They are almost uniquely combined to provide a bit of fruitiness and something more bitter, like pine. Whatever the recipe, this is flat out an amazing brew. The ten percent ABV is only a secondary contribution to the taste and it's a positive. The carbonation level isn't high, but it works perfectly for what this is. And what this is, because it tastes so good and goes down so easily, is dangerous

A - Hazy dark medium golden orange color with lots and lots of haze and sticky white lacing. Carbonation appears to be low.

S - Citrus, guava, passion fruit.

T - Follows the nose but with more intensity. Guava, citrus, passion fruit, some light grape character, and leaves some residual grape and citrus on the very back side.

M - Big medium body with light prickly carbonation that gives way to a soft finish on the texture.

O - Worth checking out. Happy 10th Anniversary Neshaminy!
