Clear gold liquid, the thinnest trace of bubbles at the top, no head to speak of no matter how quickly you pour. Nose is more malt than mango; it smelled more beer-y than I anticipated. The body like the head is thin at best. I will say that this beer could have gone the route of sweet confection, but thankfully did not. However, even with mild mango presence, this was lightly carbonated mango water with little character. On a hot summer day, I'll choose a Rita's Mango Misto over this every time.

I'll give it up for the creativity, this on tastes just like you think it will, certainly a decent summer beer option but to off the normal beer plane for me.

L: Mostly clear gold body, eggshell head with good retention.

S: Sweet mango, faint malt

T: Follows the nose. Mango upfront, more traditional “beer” on the back end.

F: Light bodied, juicy

O: An interesting novelty that I’d definitely have again.

Pours a hazed light orange color with a thin finger of near white head. Moderate lacing.

Slight toast and sulfur with some straight-up mango. Not intense like a NEIPA, but very clearly mango.

The taste isn’t that different. You get some of that beer flavor that the kids don’t love these days — graininess, kiss of sulfur — and then some definite mango, but less natural tasting and otherwise not as well integrated here. Lightly grainy finish.

Light to medium bodied, a little sharp zippiness to the carbonation.

For a Rita’s collaboration, a fruited kettle sour would not have been out of the question. This is more of a pick-up-a-six-pack-at-ACME sort of beer. It’s actually fairly refreshing and could be good for hot weather concert tailgating or a trip to down the shore.
