Observed by emptying the contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug, here's what's discovered. First, it's a magnificent pour. It's brightly amber and relatively translucent, with a seemingly never ending just-off-white head. Although not pungent, there's a nice malty aroma. The taste is malty and sweet. With a body a bit closer to a standard lager, this drinks like a light version of a marzen. It's just a little less malty and just a little lighter in body. Even though the head sustains, there's some appreciable glass lacing. A mild hoppiness contributes to the taste. Overall, this seems like a real good lager, just maltier and richer in body. Another would do just right.

It's a crafty keller/lager so just a step up from mainstream keler/lager. I guess this style does not lend much room for creativity. Smooth, balanced and mild malty but not much else going on here.
