Night has fallen on the brewhouse and a shadow cast on our year-round Warehouse Lager which has transformed into Warehouse After Dark - a new Dark Mexican-Style Lager that will have you howling. The malt bill is made up of Munich, Vienna, Maris Otter, Chocolate Wheat, and Bloody Butcher Corn because that just seemed too fitting. Magnum and Tettnang hops balance out this mahogany hued lager that has notes of toasted bread, nuts, and a slight sweetness from the Bloody Butcher Corn. Ultimately refreshing with a crisp bite, just like a moonlit breeze!

Poured into a wide mouth, grip shaped goblet: color is brown, not clear, head is very light tan with fine bubbles, head presents one finger thick, head then dissipates to nothing. no lacing, no top remains.

Smell is toast, light chocolate, hints of roast and light coffee and toffee, light herbal hops, a little sweet and ale like.

taste is more toast, light roast, cocoa, toffee, nuttiness, clean hops and backing bitterness, a little sweet.

Mouthfeel is light/moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, lower bitterness.

Overall a very good malt forward lager that presents a little sweeter than some in this sub style but good flavor and malt notes.

Decent Dunkle but fairly tame, very drinkable and easily coul habe s few of these on an autumn day, like this version much better than the standard warehouse blend.
