Poured into a wide mouth grip shaped goblet: color is straw gold, slight haze, head is off white with fine to small bubbles and presents one finger thick, head then dissipates to thin top with spotty lacing.

Smell is light mixed spice and yeast, some bread and biscuit, hints of lemon pith.

Taste is more mixed spice and yeast, seems like a Belgian yeast profile, bread and biscuit with drying lemon pith.

Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, a spiced/drying bite with a touch of hop bitterness.

Overall - I was unexpected with the execution of this as its advertised as a 'holiday ale', so maybe expected more malt or spice but this is a spiced brew with a likely Belgian yeast based fermentation; yuzu lemon peel adds to aroma and light in flavor.
