The original 611 Porter’s pronounced roasted malt character is only enhanced by the smokiness that complements the complex coffee, chocolate, and toffee flavors. Finishing dry with a medium mouthfeel, we hope Smoked 611 Porter lights a fire in you!

Purchased at Bound Beverage, Warrington, PA. $12.75/6pk, 12oz cans
Pours a deep, dark, totally opaque deep brown, almost black color. A half finger, tan colored head that lasts a bit.
A definitely smoky, roasted malt aroma.
The smokiness of the brew hits me right away. Flavors of smoked meats, roasted malts and chocolate which ends with a mild bitterness. To me there’s not denying that this is a smoked beer. Easy drinking.
Medium consistency, mild carbonation.
I’ve had a limited number of smoked beers and I really liked this brew. Possibly an acquired flavor for some but I enjoy trying all different varieties and this is absolutely out of my normal but glad I tried…cheers!

Poured into a wide mouth grip shaped goblet, color is solid black, head is light tan with fine bubbles, head dissipates to thing ring with spotty lacing.
Smell is peaty smoke, touch roast, chocolate, earth malt, not much hops.
Taste is more smoke, earthier and beechwood like, roast, chocolate, earth, bitter and light acrid nature.
Mouthfeel is light/moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitter feel from smoke and backing hops.
Overall a very good, maybe light on the smoke, smoked porter - backing porter flavor is pleasant as well.

very dark brown, almost black, with thin layer of tan colored head. aroma is slightly smoky, a bit roasty. similar taste, the smoke is there but not extreme, balanced with chocolately malt flavor. medium bodied.
