Pours a hazy oak brown with a white lacing for a head.
Smells of caramel, biscotti, almond, and vanilla.
Flavor of bready malts like toast and biscotti, roasted coffee beans, and pronounced vanilla.
Medium body with a tingle of carbonation on the tongue.
Pleasantly aromatic and flavorful, this vanilla-infused beer is very enjoyable and hides its strength well. Lots of flavor here and very drinkable. Billed as a Dubbel, this edges a bit towards a porter but retains hints of Belgian influence. Definitely try it if you find it.
