Not sure why this is retired I was able to pick up a bottle of Marked 2020 bottled on. Head dissipated pretty quickly was a quarter inch into nothing with a bright yellow hue. Smells of a good paleo sliced pineapple with some herbal twang. Taste is excellent full of pineapple guava very fruit forward hop profile. body is quite smooth light to medium easy to crush. Overall a great pineapple pale ale not sure again why it is retired

 

 

12 ounce bottle poured into a tulip glass.

L---Slightly hazed bright golden color. One finger white head with ok retention and excellent lacing.

S---Sweet. As advertised, full of tropical fruit aromas. Pineapple, guava & some mango.

T---Follows the nose perfectly. Pineapple, guava & mango. Sweeter than a pale ale usually is, without the expected hop bite, but still very tasty.

F---Juicy & wet. Quenching beer that would be great on a hot evening out on the deck.

O---Better than most of the Evil Genius offerings I've had. I'd definitely go back for another one.

 

I can smell either pineapple or the actual Hawaiian punch flavor. That's a plus because it's a delicious smell and inviting. Cool beer I k no ow it won't be highly favored amount most IPA drinkers. But ai think it's set apart and cool.

Not too bad. Looks thin. Smells like an IPA with a slight sweetness to it. Just realized as I was writing this that it in fact is "tropical punch pale ale," which explains the hop flavor. Not very bitter though. Not sweet, as I expected something called tropical punch to be. It's strange how the punch flavor comes in at the finish. Feels much thicker than I'd expect for the style, to the extent this is a style. I guess the Evil Genius style. They have that watermelon ale which is kinda similar, though crisper.
Not awful, though I'd never buy it again.

 

Tastes unfortunately like Hawaiian Punch, but far to bitter up front and with a sweet after taste.
