I'll admit it - I love Miller High Life so when I saw a single can of this available at the Bottle King in Livingston the other day, I had to pick this up. Such an odd collaboration and even odder to see that this was categorized as a New England IPA but somehow, this ended up working and was just as pleasing and easygoing as the actual "Champagne of Beers"!
This had the same hue as Miller High Life but was as cloudy as it's style, but it still left a ton of bubbles along the side of my pint glass as well as a frothy head that was quite bubbly at the top. Only a hint of a ring remained at the middle once I worked my way through this as I was hoping for more lacing. Not a strong aroma to this as it smelled like High Life's adjunct along with orange and mango additive, along with some hints of Galena, Azaaca, and Hallertau in the earthy taste. A lot of cream, soda, and earthy funk emerged in the taste - especially once it warmed up. The carbonation kept this light but it was a bit dark and heavy between sips, although I found it likeable as it left a slick coating on my palate and some lingering swamp water in the aftertaste...
Thankfully, the alcohol was light and the fruit rind was strong enough to counter any booze that I might have tasted or felt throughout my time with this. Canned on 10/1 and free or any sediment except for some *very* fine dark stuff that swirled around a bit after each pour, this was as fresh as could be for something of this sort. Grab a can and enjoy this for what it's worth - you'll never find another New England IPA along the lines of this one!

16 ounce canned 10/02/20. Poured into a Duvel tulip glass.
L---Opaque/hazy deep golden color. Big, soapy head with very good retention and good lacing.
S---Tropical fruits. Mango and orange are strong, as advertised.
T---Follows the nose. Lots of mango and orange. Hey, now, some vanilla just showed up as it warmed.
Medium bodied with ok carbonation.
O---A fine NEIPA. Plenty of fruit to go around.

A thanks to the creator of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of citrus, light mango. Taste is the same as the aroma, moderate bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Murky pale orange. You can see the streaks of murk as you pour the remaining can in. Smells of orange, mango, pine. Tastes sweet orange. Orange zest and rind. Subtle mango but especially towards the gravy like finish. Medium thick. Almost smoothie qualities. Good carbonation cuts most of this. Amazing bang for bunch NEIPA for $8.50 a four pack. Not selling at all at work and can’t imagine why because these are very solid.
