Pours cloudy, pale gold colour with strong head. Decent lacing. Strong tropical fruit, hop aroma. Same tropical aromas accompany cereal flavouring. Dry and crisp that has a smooth angle. Elevated bitterness and medium carbonation.

A:
It pours straw-colored, a tiny bit hazy with a frothy three fingers of white head. Great retention; some lacing. (4.25)

S:
Herby, stone fruits, candied orange peel, pale malt. (4)

T:
Crisp hop snap, light peach flavor, woody, orange rind, smooth bitterness. (4.25)

M:
Very dry, active carbonation, clean lagers finish/drinkability. (3.75)

O:
A nice, easy drinking beer.
It is pretty clear and pale with a decent head. The aroma is a little fruity but woodsy and earthy hop bitterness. Flavor follows with some hoppy bite but not quite to the point of an IPA. It does have a clean, dry, drinkable lager feel that I wasn't expecting to be so noticeable. Unfortunately I would dig it a touch less thin and dry, however, I feel like that is the mysterious oomph that good lagers have and it is probably easier for me to say it than for them to actually do it. Either way, the feel felt a little "sessiony" to me which is nice for a 6%er, but it'd great with a touch more meat on its bones. I am really splitting hairs at this point, though.
It is a nice level of floral-forest hoppiness and a crisp, clean feel. It is a solid, simple beer that would seem to be exactly what it's billed as. I will gladly pick this one up in the future. (4.25)

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color lager with a huge white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy floral hops notes with some light cereal notes is quite awesome. Taste is a nice mix of floral citrusy hops notes with some light cereal notes with hints of residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. High drinkability with nice presence of hops.

A: Pours a cloudy pale yellow color with a pure white soapy head. Retention is alright for a lager and lacing is just ok.

S: This is brewed with west coast IPA hops and it sure does smell like this. You get mangoes, pineapple and tangerine, the standard stuff. There is a really clean malt profile on this too, really lager like.

T: Man o man this is better than anticipated. You get a TON of mangoes and clementine peels with a pineapple juiciness. The malt profile is super crisp with light notes of lager malt with light oatmeal and and cracker.

M: Perfect. Feels just like a lager, super clean and crisp.

O: I'm very much impressed by this beer. I didn't expect it to be as potent as it is hop-wise. I also didn't expect it to be this clean. The perfect summer beer to have extra cold on a super hot summer day.
