32oz crowler, filled earlier today, poured into a 14oz brandy snifter.
The beer pours a deep amber color, nice clarity with a bone colored head that rises about a finger high and recedes quickly leaving just a light film and a few spots of soapy lace. The aroma is pleasant, strong caramel malt, candied hops, light pine, resinous and sticky with a bit of grapefruit peel. The flavors are nice, assertively bitter hops, nice grapefruit peel, candied orange, grassy green hops with nice bitter pine, sappy and resinous, earthy and somewhat dirty with a very strong and sweet caramel malt backbone that offers just a touch of warm alcohol. The mouthfeel is good, coating, smooth albeit a bit syrupy, medium body with a dry and warm finish.
Verdict: A good IPA from DryHop. Very classic American style IPA, bold malt profile with a great blend of "C" hops that offer good bitterness and a pleasant earthiness along with a refreshing citrus profile.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a crowler on January 23, 2019. An imperial IPA with a strong malt backbone to balance out the complex hop flavors and bitterness. The hops shine in the aroma with notes of lemon, grapefruit and candied orange, while the flavor shows more malt to complement the hops. Flavors of caramel and plum give way to hop notes of orange and grapefruit.
