We stopped here after hitting up Begyle. Nice place, limited beer selection. I had a Golden Delicious Blonde Ale, my husband had the Hard Wired Belgian IPA. Both were good but the food was better, we had sirachi wings and poutine. We'll definitely be back.

Really solid place in the city. They routinely put out beers that are not only tasty, but provide variety and pair well with their menu. Speaking of the menu, they have solid offerings up and down, and I'm partial to anything that comes with the fries, which are fantastic. Bonus points for them offering crowlers, something I have taken advantage of multiple times over the years!

A neighborhood brewpub with a small selection of house-brewed in house and a few guest taps. Fairly cool looking with little baby tanks hooked up behind bar and a glass brewhouse across the room. They definitely focus on beer and also feature artwork from local people. The beer wasn't great, but was not terrible either. Cool look and friendly service if nothing else. Crowlers to go. Food as well but I didn't try it (hence my not rating it).

Stopped in the last couple of Wednesday's and found it an enjoyable place to hang out and have some beers and a little food. The brewer, Eric Padilla is making some great beers. What little of the food I have had has been good and they have a great spirits selection. Staff is friendly and attentive. Will definately keep popping in when I have the chance.

Brewery and kitchen with dishes inspired by their hop-centric ales. Quality of the beer is good to very good. The service was fast and friendly. The selection of their own beer was somewhat limited. Food looked good, but I have not tried it yet.

Visited at 7pm on a Monday. Place was pretty packed and I got the last seat at the bar. Nice space but rather small. They only have 6 of their own on tap and anther 6 guest taps. Price is $6-8 a pint which is a touch high but not crazy. Service was very attentive. I didn't have any food, but the menu is upscale gastropub fare. Neither of the pints I had was noteworthy. Overall a decent place to add to my Chicago rotation, but not my first choice.

DryHop is a cool place in the heart of Chicago's trendy near North neighborhoods. Not a large place which gives it a neighborhood feel. The quality of the beer and food were decent. The service was nice and easy to talk too once they warmed up a little. The selection was ok...they mostly had Belgium and ipa beer...not stouts or porters which I thought was weird given it winter. We tried the pretzel and the pork/kimchi sliders...both which were excellent. Certainly worth the stop if you're in the hood.

this place is really pretty cool. a fairly new operation from what i understand, long and narrow space, probably packed all the time, but it was shoulder to shoulder on saturday night. neat to see the vertical stacking of what appeared to be fermenters and possibly serving vessels right behind the bar, i had not seen that set up before. aesthetically cool, probably a lot of work for the fine folks making this beer. limited beer menu in terms of offerings, no more than six or seven happening, but what a diversity of styles, i wasnt wanting for anything. a pale, an ipa, a double, but then it got interesting. a hoppy farmhouse, a pistachio milk stout, and a wheat based ipa with galaxy, all were tasty and well done. looks like they mix it up quite a bit and brew some rather small batches, im sure a great spot to visit regularly. the food menu was equally creative and well executed. i only had the pork buns, but they were impressive (if a bit under-portioned). prices a little steep too, but this is downtown chicago, what do i expect right? really a glorious combination of food and beer and atmosphere, amplified by the bustling scene and the classy holiday decorations adorning the walls. great spot to bring a date. will be back next time for sure.

My fiance and I stopped in and had a flight while we were in Chicago on vacation. Small place, not much selection, but it was all brewed in house. The beers we had were fairly good. Service was good. Didn't try the food.

Visited during Saturday afternoon brunch. Place was hoppin'. Smaller size brewpub, but a decent sized table area, and a pretty long bar for the overall space. Not overly loud, very pleasant to be at. Had a flight of six 5 ounce beers, very fairly priced. Eight of their beers on tap, with a few guest taps and a few bottles. Two sizes of growlers, also priced well. Service was terrific, friendly and attentive. Food was excellent (the french toast is a big winner), good variety. Regular lunch menu looked good, as well.

Really nice experience, fun place to be. Will definitely return.
