We will never surrender! Single hop IPA utilizing the lemony/coconutty goodness of the Sorachi Ace hop. A nice malt backbone compliments the style nicely; up the irons!

1L growler from DryHop. Served in a pint glass during poker night.
A - White foam settles to a thick cap and splotchy lacework. Hazed amber body that is consistent with DryHop's unfiltered approach.
S - Smells like Sorachi Ace; a mix of lemon, earthiness, and floral hops that is quite potent. Malt character is a touch biscuity, but is fairly bready and low in sweetness otherwise. I liked it, but others' enjoyment is tied to the polarizing nature of Sorachi Ace.
T - The taste reveals Sorachi Ace's hefty dose of alpha acids. Quite bitter; verging on rough and palate-bruising, even for me. Loads of hop flavor too, with lemon, earth, and floral notes over top of a very neutral malt backdrop.
M - Medium body, pleasant growler-style carbonation, with an extremely dry finish and tons of residual hops oils.
D - Exactly as advertised by DryHop, but your enjoyment will vary heavily on how much you like Sorachi Ace hops. This was too bitter for me to drink on my own; I could probably consume a pint at the pub but multiple glasses would wear on me.
