I think this is the first fruit ale I've ever sampled from the Wildwood. Part of their new line with a new brewer.
It was served in stemware with a thin creamy head, a cloudy pinkish amber hue in appearance. The aroma is slight, containing yeast, wheat and sour cherry. Tart light wheat and tart cherry all the way through in the flavour, which mellows out to a more sweet fruit finish. Watery mouthfeel that picks up a bit of a boost towards the finish. Very average all around in my opinion, although I could see this being quite refreshing on their patio on a hot summer day.
