On tap at Dayton Beer Company. Served in a mini snifter 5oz tasting glass.
Appearance: Hazy golden yellow. Thin white head, plenty of lacing.
Smell: Very little aroma. A bit herbal and some cooked grains.
Taste: Quite bitter and hoppy. Lemon rind, pine, woody, cedar. Malt is swamped by the hops - it just barely comes out as some pilsner-like malt. The finish is where I picked up most of the flavors.
Mouthfeel: Smooth. Good carbonation. Despite the hoppiness, not as sticky on the teeth as I expected it would be.
Overall / Drinkability: A bit too bitter to drink a lot of. Might go better with food.
