I tried this beer at the brewery as part of a four sample fight whilst in Dayton for my Bestie's 50th Birthday celebration. It poured a slightly hazy copper with very thin white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had orange citrus notes. The taste was sour leaning and not overly easy to drink with strong blood orange presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with subtle carbonation. Overall it is not a beer I enjoyed.

12oz can with date stamp of 11/28/16 on bottom of can. Served in a Shaker Pint glass. The can is the normal Broken Trolley Can, but with a orange sticker on the side saying "Blood Orange".
Appearance: Hazy amber color. Thin white head initially that died back to almost nothing. Occasional island of lacing noted that would slide right back down the glass shortly after it appeared.
Smell: Hint of orange, leafy hops, a bit of a cooked veggie aroma.
Taste: Grainy, a bit sweet, some notable blood orange flavor, a bit of wheat tang, mild bitter finish that is combined with a bit of cooked veggie and acrid flavor.
Mouthfeel: Fizzy and a bit on the watery side.
Overall / Drinkability: Not very good. I don't know if this is an old can or if it just wasn't done well, but I note it has some of the strange aftertaste/acridness I've noted in other Dayton Beer Company beers. While this appears to be a special one-off, not something I would pick up again.
